EVER TEAM takes part in the definition of MoReq

Model Requirements for Electronic Records Management, an initiative launched by the European Commission DLM Forum.

MoReq is a project initiated by the Document Lifecycle Management (DLM)-Forum, as a European community of public archives and organizations interested in records and information lifecycle management, created by an initiative of the European Commission.
The Presidency of the European Union headquartered in Spain, hosted the DLM Forum meeting on 25 and 26 May 2010, in Madrid.

EVER TEAM, European leader in Enterprise Content Management, present in more than twenty countries through its subsidiaries, network of partners and distributors, is one of the companies participating in the MoReq project, launched by the European Commission aiming at defining the model of requirements for electronic records management.

The DLM Forum develops initiatives and suggestions for the advancement and development of MoReq2, and MoReq2010, European standards for records management.
This initiative focuses primarily on functional requirements, which may be applicable to both electronic and paper documents.

MoReq specifications mainly focus on functional requirements for electronic records management systems, and outline the essential elements an ERMS should have to ensure that records are properly managed. MoReq is a generic, modular specification that is applicable to both electronic and paper documentation and can be incorporated into any organization’s records management policies helping it to comply with regulatory requirements within its business sector.

In the words of Carmen Conty, Managing Director of EVER TEAM Spain “With MoReq 2010, we have a flexible model for managing electronic documents, allowing us to unify how documents are filed in electronic format, to be legally valid and compliant, without being affected by changes in technology or legislations.” “Being one of the companies working on the MoReq definition, EVER TEAM reinforces its commitment to compliance matters, a field of expertise for the organization, and in which it has conducted business for a long time”.
